LARISSA MINATTO - SUMMER 2015 is inspired by the world of Indian flora and fauna.
Always sophisticated, the prints exemplify the DNA of the brand – an elegant and unique beachwear – totally exclusive and specially designed under the styling direction of designer Larissa Minatto. The star of the campaign is top model Babi Beluco, photographed by Rafael Pavarotti in the incredible scenery of the Taquaras beach in Balneário Camboriú, with stylist Rafael Menezes and hair and make-up artist Renato Oliveira. With this first-class team, Larissa Minatto shows off her summer collection.
What sets the collection apart is the modelling. The highlight of the brand are the bodices with cut-outs and see-through fabrics, plain color compositions, structured dresses for the after-beach and sophisticated outings, as well as the tailoring on the same prints as the bikinis. Among the key pieces, we find long-sleeve catsuits in chiffon; catsuits with cut-outs and see-through detail; hot pant bikinis; tops with ruffles; jumpsuits in viscose (monkey prints); boobtube dresses; long dresses; maxi kaftans; printed blazers with printed shorts (printed two-pieces) and; biquinis with demi-cups and many polished metals that imitate natural stones.
Among the fabrics used we have structured wrap-around fabrics and also chiffon, viscose with a touch of silk, and piquet in blazers and tailored pieces. Tulle is also a highlight. Larissa Minatto modelling is part of the concept of always enhancing the female body, with cuts, wiring and finishes that enhance the curves.
In shapes and patterns - bikinis appear in various modellings from the smaller to the larger, and we have the demi-cup top, with a built-in wiring that acts like a bra and enhances the neck. Among the range of strong and vibrant colors of the season, emphasis is given to blues and greens which are the big stars, as well as coral and lilac tones. A whole chapter for prints! Lotus flower prints, savage, blue feathers, and curves with optical illusion are some of the main features of the summer collection. Far beyond leaving the post-beach line even more sophisticated.
